FAQ's

Q: When will I be charged for the item I purchased?

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Q: Will I receive a tracking number for the order I placed?

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@thefirepitz.com

Q: How soon after ordering will my items ship?

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  

Q: What should I do If I need an update on the item I ordered?

If you would like an update on your ordered item(s), please email us at sales@thefirepitz.com include your name, order number and date ordered, we will be happy to provide you with any updates.

Q: What happens if my item arrives damaged?

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to returns@thefirepitz.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.  First please refer your specific manufactures policy on damage goods here.

Q: What happens if I don't like the item once I receive it?

All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Please contact us at returns@thefirepitz before returning any items so we may give you the correct return shipping address, also please refer to your specific manufacturers return policy which can be found here . Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

Q: How much Lava Rock will it take to fill The Outdoor Plus Fire Bowls?

1 bag of Lava Rock will fill these bowls. Approximately 50 lbs.

Q: What do I need to hook up the Match Lit Fire & Water Bowls?

You need a gas line & a water line.

Q: What size water line fitting do I need for the Fire & Water Bowls?

A 3/4" water line.

Q: What type of water pump can the Fire & Water Bowls be hooked up to?

The Fire & Water Bowls can be hooked up to to any kind of water pump (ex: pool pump, fountain, pond etc.).
